This plug-in adds the ability to browse your Picasa Web albums from SageTV.

To hide specific albums or pictures from showing up just put #hidden in the album/photo description and it'll be filtered out.''

How to submit a bug:

If you run into any problems with the plugin make sure you...

• Try re-entering your user/password. If that doesn't work, delete the username/password files in...
  

  ...\SageTV\SageOnlineServicesEXEs\picasaWeb\

  And try one more time.
• Try entering the plugin through the main menu flyouts and the "More Online Services" button.
• Include the LOG FILE (!!!!!!!) which can be found at ...

  ...\SageTV\SageOnlineServicesEXEs\picasaWeb.log

Nice! I look forward to trying this out. Is a flickr plugin or flickr functionality for this plugin a possibility at some point

I don't use Flickr myself so its not too high on my todo list, but you never know. If I ever got bored some weekend I might a give it a shot

I mistyped my PW and now it won't let me re-enter it. It says "try entering your user name and password again", but there appears to be no way to do so.

I'm bummed, have family visiting and would love to have used this...

? The top right options should always be "Set Username/Password"?

I'm willing to bribe. I use flickr a bunch and would LOVE to see it added.


like the person above - I typed in the wrong Picasa username (Don't use picasa much so that's my excuse)
But I deleted the username & password file using windows explorer & all is good now. Definitely would like to see a way to change username & password from UI.
Also as a future suggestions: Would like to only see "Set Username/Password" in the options if you hit "options" using escape or whatever key is linked to "options" Seeing it as the top-left item instead of a photo folder isn't ideal imo.

I'll get those items sorted out. Cleaning up this plugin is next on my todo list.

Yes, and now that I did enter my P/W:

1) Awesome start. I love being able to browse this content!

and the Enhancement request:

2) Add Slideshow capability. Or, alternatively, when browsing an album provide a way to hit "next" arrow to go to the next picture. Just being able to go to the next photo would meet >80% of my desire over an automated slide show.

Right now it seems that you can view 1 photo at a time but you have to go back to the album to look for the next one. Less than ideal when family is huddled around.

But love the plugin

Just started using this... nice addition. I wonder if we can get some more enhancments to it.. for instance, Search album title, picture title, tags, and people tags, Filter by People?
