Podcast feed no longer updated

I just applied this over lunch. I was hoping to see GeekBeat.tv replace GeekBrief.tv in the Online Videos section, but I was disappointed.

The host has switched affiliations, and is now working for Revision3. So the GeekBrief.tv podcast is no longer being updated as of a month or two ago, and all new material is appearing at http://geekbeat.tv/ (which lists a number of rss feeds for different sized / format media, like most revision3 podcasts).

Could you make this change in the next update?

I've already got a bug report about this. It will be looked at for the next online video update.

Thanks! I've been meaning to apply it to the CustomOnlineVideo stuff. Can you remind me how to get that reloaded (short of restarting SageTV, and disturbing on-going recording / playback).

Simply re-enter the Online Services menu from the Main Menu.

Thanks.. The greybeard in me is always nervous about editing config files while the application is running. Thanks for confirming that it should work!

Well, I happened to be updating online videos today. Since the v6 properties files have been completed, I uploaded them -- online properties version 2010081801. There is no new STV update for this. The first post of the Online Services Updates includes the latest version numbers & MD5 values shown on System Information. Remember, it can take up to 24 hours for the update to be downloaded by SageTV.

This is only for the v6 online videos and it includes only this one feed change. A v7 update will be posted whenever it is done.
