Deleting files causes Sage to crash
I had this problem with 1.4, too, so it's not unique to 2 RC2.
From time to time when I delete a file I've just watched in Sage it crashes Sage out to windows. I've captured the Windows error message, is this a config thing that I'm being dumb about? Thanks! Hi,
Are you deleting the file using sage or are you physically deleting the file using Windows Explorer? Regards, Mark |

Hi Mark -
I was deleting the file via Sage. Watch the show, go back to the list of recorded shows and it's in italics. Click in once, hit the delete button and it crashes... not everytime, intermittently. It's most common when I've just watched a show (rather than just cleaning up shows that I don't want to watch). So I think it may be that the file is still somehow open - there's some handle on the show that keeps it from deleting properly (though when I go back into Sage, the programs gone). Thanks, Matt |

kummell,
Have you filed a bug report for this? Also make sure you keep all the log files from the crash. ie sagetv_x(where x is 0 thru 3 with 0 the most recent) and maybe even another log file(I believe they start something like "hs_err_pid"). With RC3 coming out soon you want to get this fixed if it is not just something specific to your system config.
