AC3 Channel mapping issue playing non-mpeg files (MKV, AVI, etc)

I am using the SageTV Beta 7.0.12, and I seem to have a channel mapping error when playing back Non-mpeg files (avi, mkv, etc) using the SageTV as the "media player for non-mpeg files" as the center channel plays out of the left speaker.

I have been optimizing my SageTV setup and changed the video settings to EVR, Microsoft's DTV-DVD decoder as both the mpeg\h264, and I am attempting to use SageTV's media player as recommended, but this channel mapping issues is strange. The channels are mapped perfectly fine when I select DirectShow as the media player, but I heard using SageTV's media player in v7 was better.

On an unrelated note, I also think that VMR9 looks just a little bit more vibrant color-wise, for whatever reason. Is there a way to adjust the video settings for EVR to improve the color quality?

The DirectShow player is the one that is planned to be used for the future; we're trying to phase out the SageTVPlayer on Windows. So if it works in DirectShow; then you should be fine (and DirectShow is the recommended playback technique now).
