Auto and manual picture rotation

Please, let me know if anyone found out how pictures can be manually rotated using remote control.

Does anyone knows if picture auto-rotation can be turned on?

Right now when I browse pictures or do slide show vertical pictures appear sideways. I did not find anything on the remote to rotate it.

Please, help.

I am running the latest beta firmware.

In standalone/Media Player mode, rotation is not available.

When connected to a SageTV server as an extender, lossless rotation is available as one fo the options while viewing a jpg image.

This is very sad. It pushes me to spend hours on photo editing. Is there any way to add this feature to the product? SageTV Media Center is priced higher then similar products -- Western Digital WD TV and pretty simple MNSSCOOL. Those products do support picture rotation. Granted, all other features of SageTV Media Center are great, however, it would be FANTASTIC if picture rotation is available in stand-alone mode. Please, let me know if it is feasible to add this feature in the future... I am planning to buy one more box for the kids. They do a lot of digital photography and this feature is crucial for them.

No replies for days. Will picture rotation be implemented for HD-200 in stand-alone mode or will it not???

Just out of curiosity, Why does it take you hours to rotate a picture? Takes me about 5 seconds. Browsing photos isn't sages primary functions, I highly doubt that this is on top of the list. I beleive there are a few tv's that have this feature built in directly to the tv, though.

Also Microsoft's PowerToys has a feature to allow you to selct and rotate multiple pictures at a time. I also beleive Ifranview has the possiblity of a batch rotate also.
