Live TV viewing conflicting with a favorite

How is Sage supposed to handle it when you've got favorites scheduled, but then you decide to watch something on Live TV that's long enough that it's going to conflict with your upcoming favorite? Should it blow away your favorite and show a conflict, or should it just cut off your live TV viewing when the favorite begins?

I tried to experiment but got the following They overlaid each other in the upcoming recordings list. I assume they're not supposed to step on each other like this, so I'll submit it as a bug. How's it supposed to work, though?

I believe, shortly (like 3 min) before the favorite is scheduled to start Sage will ask you if it is OK to change channels to record the favorite. I believe it defaults to yes if you don't answer. What you're seeing is probably correct, because I don't believe LiveTV will cause a conflict.

Hi,

You can make sheduled shows override LiveTV by changing the following
statement in the Sage.Properties file.

seeker/channel_change_ask_advance=0

When it comes time to record a show, it will change the channel without asking.

Regards,

Mark
