SageTV sees DVB-S2 card as DVB-T

I just installed a Digital Devices Cine S2 - Dual DVB-S2 HDTV (Rev. V5.5) card.
DVB-Viewer, Win7 MCE, Fast-satfinder and mediaportal all see the card and can tune it.

SageTV sees it as a DVB-T card because it comes up as a Digital-Tuner1 and Digital Tuner2 but when chosen in "add tuner" it will do a channel scan with no results but will not let you choose Satellite transpordens.

Is there a way to "tweak" the system to force SageTV to see this as a DVB-S2 card instead of just a digital tuner??

Running Win7 *86 and SageTV V.7 latest beta.

Thanks in advance..

Robert

I am also thinking of buying two of this cards for SageTV together with their 4 tuner enabled LNB with just one cable. Did you get the Devices Cine S2 working with SageTV?

I searched the forums and found people with problems with hybrid cards and QAM. My setup was detecting my hybrid card as a DVB-T hybrid.

So I went into sage.properties file and found the entry for my card
mmc/encoder -(strange number in here) capture_device_name=ATI AVStream blah blah
mmc/encoder - broadcast standard=DVB-T (which I changed to QAM)

do a search on forum and you can force the proper broadcast standard if the auto-detection is not working for you
