Using WMC and SageTV on W7
i want to use WMC for live tv on my Xbox 360, and SageTV for my PC for live tv. but when i use WMC on my 360 it keeps saying
"Extender Disconnected A Program on your windows media center PC has caused the Xbox 360 to disconnect. Would you like to reconnect?" i use 1 tv tuner for WMC and a different tv tuner for sage tv, but i think sagetv is being greedy and trying to use that 1 too.. even tho the process is disabled.. and i have never set up that tuner on sagetv. i have closed SageTV but it still says it.. even after reboots. oh and i only have 1 plugged in at a time

Do you ever have problems accessing SageTV from your PC? Have you had problems where it's tried to record from the second tuner?
When the XBOX asks to reconnect, is it able to? I don't use WMC and don't have an XBOX, but I recall that at my friend's house, she has to reconnect it at least occasionally. When you say "oh and i only have 1 plugged in at a time", do you mean that you turn off and unplug the XBOX from the wall? Could that be the issue?

I have been testing Sage7 on the same machine with a MCE running for the XBOX360. I don't use the Xbox360 much for except for testing but it appeared to work fine. Sage pointed to a HDHR and MCE used a Aver OTA card installed on the machine.
This was Win7-64 and appeared to work fine.

i uninstalled everything but VLC and the software it came with.. lots of sony vaio software
and it still does it.. tho it was working good last night then windows decides to update and reboot.. and ruined it. it hasn't worked since then
