Theme: MBDiamond

MB Diamond - Sagetv V7 theme loosely based on some of the elements of the Media Browser Diamond Theme. All icons have been updated as well.

I have Phoenix Fanart Plugin installed for V7, HideOSDVol, twiedertweaks and Comskip plugins installed with the theme in case you're wondering why things look like they do in the screenshots.

Release Notes:

1.4 Update to the theme.properties file to use single background image instead of 9 identical images (Thanks JREKiwi)

1.3 Update containes mostly cleaned up images and more icons, also included "Blue.zip" to revert easily from green back to blue and updated the sample photos.

1.2 Updates to various icons and menu items.

1.1 Update to change backgrounds to Sagetv Blue V6 style and also now includes a file "Green.zip" in the Theme/MBDiamond/ folder that contains copies of the green grass backgrounds if you would like to manually update by unzipping to the folder,just make backups of the blue ones first ;o)

Er, wait, you've changed the background? I'm not all that fond of the green and liked the blue/purple that I remember from your original post -- can I get that somehow?

Well, I'm sure it's all just personal preference I just happen to like blues more than greens but I'm sure that's the not case for everyone.

Is there any way to make a theme like yours to just use the "background image" selected via Customize?

That used to work when there was only one background image in v6. In v7 it seems to be that for each theme there is a background for each main menu item. If the theme does not have a corresponding background for each it will look to the standard theme and use the one there (default images). I have just used the same image for each of the backgrounds to keep things simple as there was enough going on in the theme with all the shiney see through stuff etc...

I haven't even gotten into the theme.properties tweaks so there may be a whole bunch of stuff that is possible that I haven't seen.

On that note does anyone know a good source for the detailed settings you can use in the Theme.properties file?

I have tried a few times, and it always comes up as download fails from the repository. anyone else getting this?

Hi Sabre,

I just installed on one of my clients to test and it installed ok.

The file is hosted on dropbox.com and seems to be ok there as well.

Keep trying I guess.

I installed right from the plugins menu with no problem.

On a side note, I see you (jorton) have twiedertweaks installed. I thought that after 7.0.9 that this plugin was broken and was causing excessive CPU usage or something along those lines? Has this been fixed or are you still on an older beta?

Hi Brent94z,

I found that having the hidden extras enabled keeps things stable with twiedertweaks installed (don't know why), I have it running on 7.0.11 on different client pc's and haven't noticed anything. If I don't enable the hidden extras (5309 on system info screen) the disk bar flashes like crazy. Anyways it's a working fix for me for now till it gets updated. No crashes etc...
