This is what I am looking for! So, I installed the SqueezeBox Server and the UI Plugin. I then set up a SqueezeBox account and configured Pandora as a SB app.

When I look in Sage I only see YouTube and not Pandora. Any suggestion?

I have 3 tvs set up with HD300s. I'm running a SageTv server with playon also loaded on the server. The server has an X6 1090T 8 gig of ram a 2TB HD and has nothing else running on it.

When we try to have two hd300s start playon, the start of the second playon stream kills the one on the first hd300.

Interestingly two of the tvs also have DLNA capabilities (Pioneer Kuros). When I run playon on the first hd300 and then start a second stream via the TV's DLNA capability I do not get a restart of the first stream.

This suggests to me this isn't a playon issue but either something with the HD300s or with the Playon plug in.

Has anyone run into the same issue?

This is a known limitation of PlayOn. It can only stream one item at a time to each client. In this case, the SageTV Server is the DLNA client. Therefore, only one extender can access it at a time. (technically, the extenders aren't accessing it, the server is).

Also, i'm adding the ability to enable/disable channels, so you don't have to worry about a bunch of channels you don't have/wan't showing up.

Amazon VOD would be nice instead of going so far in


Then agaiin if was part of your tv/movie importer then i guesses would not care where it was on the on line part then since this is the only reason we go into the on line area.

I would like to see a way to add channels at some higher level. I use tvlinks plugin thru playon. I have to dig thru several screens to get to it. If there was a way to add TVLinks to top level or one off would be nice. I'm sure it's not easy, but a thought.

I personally would rather have the link take me to the main Playon Hulu link so I can choose to browse by network or most popular or whatever.
I reallly like the idea of being able to enable disable (Add/replace?) shortcuts via your plugin though

Opps, forgot to include it in the list, but yeah, Amazon has a shortcut now. Haven't had time to add Amazon as a source for the importer yet, but i'll look into that when I have a chance.

Adding/Removing generic PlayOn links is something I looked into, but it was too difficult this time. I'll keep thinking though.

I'm torn on how much enable/disable to add. Right now I have options to enable/disable for any channel that requires a login to work, but beyond that everything shows up. I'm a bit hesitant to add an enable/disable option for *every* channel because then the configuration page becomes unwieldy. So if you want the super granular controls, nows the time to make your case.

Oh, there's also a way to just disable all the premium content if you decided not to upgrade yet.

I currently have PlayON with this great plugin - all works great. Now I hear that there is Hulu+ (Plus). What is hulu+ and can we get that with PlayOn?

Hulu+ is a premium level of Hulu that includes full back catalogs of certain shows (mostly broadcast channels) and AFAIK PlayOn supports it.

Cool. So after one signs up, how do you tell PlayOn to use Hulu+?

It should happen automatically. Since its attached to your login, you'll just see more content available when you browse PlayOn.

Sorry for being so dense, but I am lost. I just signed up for Hulu+. When I go into PlayON settings, I don't see Hulu+. I forget if I signed up for PlayON with the same email address I signed up for Hulu+. Would that be the issue?

PlayOn doesn't have a separate channel for hulu and hulu+. So as long as you have your Hulu account setup in PlayOn, it'll recognize that you have a Hulu+ subscription and you'll automatically have access to the additional content through the Hulu channel.

A quick way to test if its working inside Sage would be to check Online->Hulu->ABC->Modern Family and see if you have this entire season available or just the last 5 episodes.

Thanks for the clarification. In PlayON, I was seeing the Hulu entry but I thought I needed a Hulu+ for Hulu+ subscription. I entered my email and password setup and hit "test" and PlayON confirmed all was ok.

I then went to run your test, but my setup is a little different. On SageTV, I go Online -> Browse Hulu -> Network -> ABC -> Modern Family.

I see only 10 entries ( Season 2 Episode 9 ) so I don't think I am getting the entire enchilada.

Am I supposed to see Hulu -> ABC -> Modern Family? I don't have a "Hulu" but a "Browse Hulu" and after I hit Browse Hulu, I don't have "ABC". I see boxes for User Queue, Network, Action, Aniamtion, Anime, Comedy, Drama, Family, Food, Home, Kids, Music, Mystery, News, Paranormal, and a lot of other stuff.

Nope, that's it, i've only got the last 5 episodes. For shows currently airing Hulu+ only gives you past episodes from the current season.

Nope, that's not possible, but it looks like PlayOn's latest version has this fixed so we're good for now.
