Dynamic Backgrounds

My wife and family love the slide show screen saver and I find them sitting there watching it from time-to-time. We have thousands of family photos and the WAF went WAY up when I got that going. Along these lines I'd love to see a way to have the theme backgrounds randomly grab a photo from my photo library as I scroll through the menu. Static pictures would be ok, and I know I can change them, but dynamic backgrounds, that would be cool! I have no idea if this is even possible, but as I see nothing built in, I would guess this needs to be a plugin. I suppose I could throw together some sort of batch file that ran every 30 minutes to randomly copy over new photo's. I'd rather see it built in though. My programming skills are seriously limited.... if no one else takes this up I might take a stab at it.

My wife doesn't like the new slideshow effects where it pans up and down. Does anyone know how to turn off just the effects and make it just show a single stationary photo as it did in v6?

Go to Photos / Browse Photos
Bring up the options menu
Select Slideshow Options
Select from "Slideshow Transitions" setting
Done!

Thanks! Not initially inituitive that it's under photo slideshow options, but now that I think about it, it makes sense since the screensaver option references slideshow.
