I stopped sage, cleared out that directory, and also ./userdata/Phoenix/cache/imagetrans/FuzzyMaloreBanners. I then started sage, and connected from my hd300. I entered the malore TV menu, and scrolled a little. As I scroll around, new files appear in ./userdata/Phoenix/cache/imagetrans/FuzzyMaloreBanners. There are 2 types of files, ~200KB png files, which when viewed with an image viewer correspond to the banners for working shows, and 975 byte files, which are black rectangles and seem to correspond to the non-working banners. Interestingly, cache/imagefactory/FuzzyMaloreBanners is still empty... Thanks, Drew

So, what is the status of this plugin? Does it work with SageTV 7? I really like Malore menus, and this makes them even better. Also, since it wouldn't change the Recordings screen much it may serve to increase the WAF.
I am having an issue getting it to work, which is obviously why I ask... Thanks! |

Not to be biased, but it'd be easiest to install the 'Fuzzy's Malore Tweaks' plugin from the UI Mod section of the repository. That'll get you the banners in the malore screen (in the description area and/or in the show list).

Actually, I did install the 'Fuzzy's Malore Tweaks' plugin, and didn't see any fanart. Nothing changed at all in my Recordings screen once it was installed. I tried to mess with the options to see if I could get it work, but no luck. Now that I have removed almost every plugin from my Sage server, I will try it again and report back.

Success! I uninstalled every plugin that I didn't need, as well as several plugins that were disabled, and now, with the addition of 'Fuzzy's Malore tweaks' it actually works!
So, thanks for the suggestion, it made me go back and do it again. I have a handful of shows that don't display fanart, but it looked like it was a naming problem. All of the series that didn't work had [:-'] characters in the filename. Any idea how these get mapped when looking for fanart, or do I need to inquire in the Phoenix forum? Thanks again! It looks so nice! |

Looks like the changes that stuckless made in the fanart area have introduced a couple of issues with the fanart plugins. I've sent him some info on the things that are no longer working, but he's on vacation currently and he will look into it when he returns.
I've tried doing some workarounds within the plugin, but the UI performance takes a bit hit with them, so it's probably best to wait for his return. John |

OK. Thanks, good to know! I will keep that in mind when I am trying to figure out the missing banners.
[Update] I removed the small blank images, renamed a few fanart directories, and now it all works as expected! Thanks! Last edited by darinh; 08-04-2011 at 12:09 PM. Reason: Update. |

I don't think anybody is using this plugin any more so I'd like to remove it from the repository.
@Fuzzy - I think your "Fuzzy's Malore Tweaks" plugin is dependent on this plugin. Are you still supporting that?
