I am having the same problem that others have reported:

HTTP ERROR: 503

Problem accessing /sage/Home. Reason:

SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE

I remember editing the URL at one time but, I don't see that as an option to configure in the plugin.

Edit: I now see it in Jetty Web Server Plugin but, that's not what I was looking for.

This worked for me as well to at least get back up and running with the old version... I knew I should have looked at the forum when I saw that it was a .0 release... Oh well.

This is a crucial part of SageTV any chance that any updates we get a SageTVPluginsDev.xml before overriding the current plugin?... A lot of people are still using Version 7 and these changes were made for version 9.

Sorry, same error. Any way we can fork this? Have Web UI v3 and Web UI Legacy as two separate plugins? I mean, if we can't solve this quickly. I'm more than happy to help test, especially since one of the improvements is exactly what I asked for, but I have to have a way to quickly go back to a functioning version when the family wants to record/watch something.

I'm going to release a new version tonight that is just the 2.43 version with a new version number (so it'll be seen as an update to those that have already taken 3.0.)

Although one of the changes were for compatibility with v9, I tested these changes on both v7 and v9. I'll release a plugin dev file for further testing after I get the current mess straightened out.

No, I use my locator ID which I have plugged into a web redirect site....

...but, nevermind, it started working on its own today!

I've also been seeing the SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE problem since Saturday when I did the update on v7. I can make it go away temporarily by uninstalling/installing, but when I restart Sage I have the problem again.

Version 3.1 is available. It is a re-release of the version 2.43 web server. All of the files in this release are exactly the same as the 2.43 version, only the plugin.xml was changed (to bump the version.) This should get everyone back up and running.

In addition, for those willing to test, attached to this post is a SageTVPluginsDev.xml (remove the .txt extension after you download). Place this in your SageTV/SageTV/ folder and version 3.1.1 will show up for you.

For anyone who had already installed version 3.0 (or installs 3.1.1), can you please tell me:
  1. Operating System
  2. Sage Version
  3. Java Version
  4. Did it work?

When I tested this prior to release, I tested on Windows 7, Sage 7, Java 7 and also on Linux Mint 17.3, Sage 9, Java 7. Everything worked for me on both setups, so I'm still thinking the java version is the problem. I'd like to see what others' experiences are.

3.1 didn't work
3.1.1 did work

Attached is SystemInfo.txt with the webserver up and running. Contains the OS, Sage Version and Java Version in it. Did remove the LocatorID. Can attach logs tomorrow of both 3.1 and 3.1.1 if you want but can't tonight as it is recording.

Edit: Added results for SageTV 9 on different server with 3.0 also attached SystemInfoV9.txt for that. OH it worked with 3.0 on SageTV 9

I had to use the workaround for now since I'm going out of town for the next couple days but, I will for sure look at this when I get back. Thanks troycheek for the workaround in this emergency situation and thanks to skiiingwiz for fixing it!!

3.0
Win 10 64 bit (8 6.2 according to Sage System Information)
Sage 9.0.4.232
Java 1.7.0_79
Works - yes

But what happened to the SJQ menu? Or is that a special custom addon that I did somewhere along the line?

Yeah, the SJQ web UI plugin looks to only support Sage up to 7.1.256. I believe that if someone can change the "manifest" (?) to not set a highest supported platform it would show up...

I see this seems to be resolved with the latest version, but figured I'd test anyhow before I upgraded. By your suggestion, I tried most of these and they worked just fine. The only thing I didn't test was adding by team. I also use https and that was working, as well.

Very strange. Usually, I get bit by this kind of stuff. Nice to be the outlier for once.

Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit
SageTV V7.1.9.256
Java 1.6.0_10
3.0: no work
3.1: works
3.1.1: works!

"Works" for me is that I can search for airings and pull up details. My nephew says he can watch shows on his phone. Brother and his laptop will be tested later.

I just updated the plugin to 3.1 via the repository and, after a restart, the page now says I'm back to running 2.43.

EDIT: Okay, I think I see the disconnect. 2.43 was re-released as 3.1, but the version on the UI just says it's 2.43 because it actually is. Got it.
