The Studio would be the quickest if you know how to use it.

Sorry to dredge up this thread from the bowels of page 3...

but I wanted to humorously point out that my reluctance to switch to v7 until after the Lost finale due to any issues with stability were totally shot in the foot when my previously rock stable v6 system decided to randomly start recording Masterpiece Theater and (even though it's totally unrelated to Sage's insistance of imbuing some culture in my life) totally borked the last 10 minutes of the finale. I had to wake up early and watch in online.

First time I've ever been punished for NOT being an early adopter.

I think I would have been happier if I didn't see the last 10 minutes.

Are there some non-humans on the planet that liked it?

I didn't hate it, but I was disappointed. They could have done something so much more with what they had .....

I agree. I wish I could say I didn't expect the way they ended it.

Can't find a post on this, so let me be first...

Is there a way to filter a listing by "watched" status? I'm getting to the end of watching Season 2 of Law & Order and I now have to scroll down two pages to get to the next "unwatched" episode. SageMC (I know that was an add-on) had this feature - is there a way to add it to the commands so I can click a button on my remote to trigger "filter by watched" and see what I have NOT watched?

GREAT WORK GUYS! Love the new UI!

ps. I too did NOT get sucked into LOST... Nor do I "farmville"! LMAO!!!

Thanks! That's a big help! Now you're just teasing me!!

I've done that tons of time - set something up perfect, then can't remember what I did to do it...

Go to All Recordings (or whichever of the screens you're using) and click options, go to filtering, and you'll see the settings for how to filter watched shows.

V7 Stability out of the box

Brent's post says that metadata is embedded in the file for recorded TV files rather than being stored in wiz.bin. Does this mean that the files types have changed from .mpg and .ts files?
I dropped V7 right on top of V6.5.2 and it just plain worked. I use the 2 HD-200's for TV viewing and the only issue I had with V7 is that it did not natively decode my HD recordingson the PC. I had to install Arcsoft TME decoders to play video. I'm currently using the beta for the whole house. Wife and Kids Acceptance Factor is high. Both the Mrs and the Kids have taken right too it.

I am browsing using folder view in "my videos" - there is no such option in the popup dialog when I click "options"... The option was on the left side of the screen when I was using SageMC - does Sage 7 have this available somehow? Maybe I can map a custom command to do it?

Please note that while there is no 64 bit firewire, since SgraphRecorder is a network encoder you could connect your STB to a client.

It MAY also be possible to use Sgraphrecorder in XPMode within Win7 Profesional - not really sure how well this would work - if at all. I'm not sure if you can virtualize Firewire ports...

Anybody have any idea how to recompile drivers for 64 bit?

I think the sorting and filtering is only available in the recordings listing. I haven't found any settings for imported videos.
