Wiz.bin problems

Ever since moving sage to a new server, i've been having problems with my recordings getting lost (the .mpg files are there, but sage is loosing the metadata). I'm guessing it's a problem with the wiz.bin file.....

So, I'm wondering what's the best alternative. I've tried BMI, but I just can't seem to get it working (Sage Webserver works, so it's not a Jetty issue). I've also tried SageRecordingsXMLGenerator but having no luck. It doesn't appear to be making a XML file, unless it's saved somewhere else..... I can manually save each one from the webserver, but that's tedius. Taking snapshots of my wiz.bin might work I suppose, but that's something I'd have to figure out.... I think the best option is the creation of outside metadata files that I could re-import if needed. Anyone have any other thoughts?

On a side note, the new machine is running Vista, and I initially had some problems due to the usershare, but I've tried both addons in the base location (c:\program files x86\ and the usershare area.....

Ok, so after trying to put the SageRecordingsXMLGenerator plugin in the usershare section, it's still not working......

Ok, so it's not "usershare". It's the virtualstore, and that's indeed the problem *again*. I had to manually edit my sage.properties in the Virtual Store, and add the loading line manually, and the SageRecordingsXMLGenerator plugin works great =]

You could just check the FAQs in the stickies at the top of this forum section, such as this one:

I have in the past, and i tried searching for certain terms but couldn't find anything useful for the situation. I'm just happy it's fixed because loosing my settings twice in under a month kinda sucks.....The longterm fix is of course to get my wiz.bin backed up every day on some sort of backup system, but the short-term fix is done!
