I did that for the iOS version, but haven't got around to do it with the Android version yet...

TASageTV
Question: What was the fix in version 2.31 that is listed as "work around for Samsung Galaxy Tab"? I ask becuase, while I like the remote control feature, I have a problem keeping it connected to the SageTV client. Every so often (several times during an evening of TV viewing), I have to tap the "radio signal" icon (top right) and re-select the client I'm interested in to get the remote control working again. This is very confusing for the wife.
I'm using a Galaxy Tab (7 inch) as the android device running the app. |

Version 2.35
- The Status screen is now using the detailed view. Version 2.34 - Migrated the Album view to ListFragment... - Try to dismiss more of the left over keyboard... Known issue Rotating the Android device on the Album screen won't properly redraw it, so just back out and reselect the Album... I've tried fixing it, but nothing that I could think of worked, so for now I'm moving on...

Testing this out finally using latest sageTV and various android devices (Evo4G, EVO3D, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1)
On the GT 10.1 if I goto Program Guide, it force closes. (have rebooted, etc. and still happens). On the EVO 3D - I can get to the Programming Guide section, however it only shows channels up to 999.. All my HD channels here on COX are 1000+ and they do not show up in the list. On the EVO 3D - The connection to the server keeps droping over wifi, and this is while using the app, not after a screen shutoff or anything like that.. The icon just shows disconnected, and then you have to tap it again to reconnect. any suggestions?

I've been doing some pretty heavy "under the hood" changes with the database access, and there was indeed an issue with channels, which the Program guide indeed would strongly react to... Try 2.38, it's not completely finished yet, but...
Version 2.38 - Cleaned up the access to the database.

I can now get the 1000+ channels on the EVO3D, however the galaxy tab 10.1 still force closes when trying to go into the Program Guide.
Thanks!

I'd be more than happy to help troubleshoot or test / debug if there is something else I could do to help resolve the issue. Thanks!

Also I purchased the full Application tonight to support this applications development! Once I get everything working I'll be able to get a few more device licenses purchased for all of our devices.
Do activation codes get emailed at time of purchase / automatic? or is this something that takes some processing? Will the code be emailed or do I use the website login information I received? Thanks! Shane

I need some volunteers to try the streaming with the Vitamio library...
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/408295/TaSag...1/TASageTV.apk It requires Android OS 2.1+. If you don't have a compatible device, you will get an error message and part of the detailed view might be missing... If you don't get the error, the detailed view still might not draw properly. Hitting the Stream button for a Recordings/Videos file should start the streaming... Maybe you will only get sound as the video is off screen, or maybe it will only display in the bottom part or something. Unfortunately, neither the emulator or my cheap MIPS-based tablet are supported, so I'm flying blind here... So I'd like to hear some feedback about it, maybe with some screenshots...

Ok - Not much luck so far... I'm using my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and EVO 3D for testing so far. Are you on google+ By chance? I could add you and setup a circle to share all my screenshots as I take them, notes, etc. If not I could send you an invite if you PM me your information.
Here is the step by step of what I attempted and noticed: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Issues: - installed update - launched TaSageTV - volume controls are disabled when TaSageTV is open (on any screen) - Attempted to play a TV Recording - Popup came up about Vitamio library. Installed library, returned to TaSageTV - taped stream button, tapped play button, nothing happens, no audio, no video. Exited application. - 3 Icons in Apps Menu after update installation. - Rebooted then Uninstall TaSageTV to attempt to get rid of extra icons. Reinstalled - Still 3 icons and then TaSageTV would just force close upon trying to open. In settings/Applications - removed all TaSageTV Data, Rebooted device, Still Force Closes on launch of TaSageTV EVO 3D - Cleared TaSageTV Data, Uninstalled Existing version - rebooted phone - Installed testing TaSageTV - in apps menu - 3 icons for TaSageTV now exist. - app force closes upon trying to launch using 2 of the icons.. the 3rd just shows a blank/black screen w/o a force close.
