That's most likely because you didn't have much data, so the update was fast. Now with more data, you are getting delays greater than 16ms and Android is force closing the app. So I'd say go back to the version 2.2 and see if it's fine.

OK, those aren't the 16ms issue... I see some database issue and something else which isn't clear...

I don't get the same frequency of closes on my Droid, but they do still close out occasionally (mostly on switching back into TaSage from another app).

Do have plans to add any more media center functionality? Some features I'd be interested in using are:

1. Search for songs, videos, photos. I find the current browsing UI for large music collections difficult to use.
2. Play song directly from Playlist. Playlists are a great way to help manage large collections of music. Once I select a playlist would it be possible to bring up the song details when tapping on an item in the playlist? From the song detail view it would then be possible to instruct an extender to play the song if desired through the menu option.

Right, those are in the iOS version but haven't made it to the Android version yet. There are also a few places that could use a detailed view when selecting an item...

It was going so well...

I got the android 3.1 upgrade today!

Now I cant open recording without it FCing when I click on "recordings"!
Also get an FC when I click on Program Guide.

Android Logs attached. (looks to me like database access problems again)

OK, so both crashes are due to the database being locked or close... The first suggestion is to wait for the initial sync to be done, if you have a lot of favorites, recordings, schedule and such, maybe give it a minute or two before accessing those...

Just updated , and it's all gone pear shaped. Can't seem to sync the database anymore. Cleared it, updated Sagetcp, rebooted everything, failed. Starts to sync, does an album, then doesn't seem to do anything else. Rolled back to previous version installed 1.77 and it's fine.

Hmm, was that with 1.88? I did have to wipe the database to add the Manual recording and Conflicts, but otherwise it should be fine after a sync...

EDIT: Never mind, I am indeed seeing something odd with it...

I see a significant improvement on my cheap tablet, by something like a factor 3...
