Video washed out

Hi, I just started using SageTV Media Center regularly. No matter what monitor I hook up to my PC, the video doesnt have deep colors. The video looks washed out. I just upgraded my video driver (Nvidia) to the latest one from Nvidia's website. The video looks OK when using "Overlay" in sageTV. If I switch to EVR (which is the setting I want), the video looks washed out. The same goes for the other settings such as VMR9 and Default Video render.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!
