For anyone out there battling this little black box to connect to a
Windows 7 folder share and your seeing this error in the Windows System event log: "The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the server reached the configured limit for nonpaged pool allocations.", I have a gift for you.

Basically, in Win7, it apparently does not always get configured correctly to be a true file server. The fix is to update two registry keys:
Quote:
Set the following registry key to ‘1′:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\LargeSystemCache
and set the following registry key to ‘3′:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters\Size

After hours of battling this problem, my hd200 will now connect to my win7 shares again. I don't think this applies to any previous windows versions.
Hopefully, this is useful to someone out there. Sorry if it has already been discussed previously (was a new one to me).
Enjoy!
