Using IR receiver with Sage

I have an old IR receiver/transmitter that I used to use to sync my Windows CE palmtop with my desktop. It plugs into the serial port. Any chance Sage might work with it?

Check to see if it works with Girder, then you can use it in SageTV through Girder. It's your best bet.
