S-Video Leads

Hi,
I was looking at the S-Video cables I have here and they all have only 4 pins in them, I have a S-Video to composite adaptor which has all the pins in it and this works, are you guys using S-Video cables and if I buy one with all the pins will that work for me?
Patrick

Yeah I tried a 4 pin svideo to composite adapter with my radeon card and it did not work (black and white picture)
But when I used a normal 4 pin svideo cable it worked fine
I think you only need the seven pin for using a svideo to composite adapter
Hope that helps
