I'm having a few glitches with jetty but I'll do more troubleshooting there as time permits ... sagex seems to work but bmt, sagewebapp and the nielm_sagewebserver pages don't seem to be loading

Nielms webserver 2.26 running on port 8080 (Old School) ; Do I have to disable this to get jetty running right?
as long as they are running on different ports you should be ok.... i did this a long time until jreichen released a jetty port of nielms webserver...

Now to look into the Fanart stuff

Thanks for the help and the STV import,
Bobby
youre welcome ... After you get BMT going getting fanart is a whole lot simpler

Can someone explain the steps. I am missing something here. I cannot get a folder to sort by Original Air Date.

In the Malore menues (the dual-pane SageTV Recordings screen in the Default-STV with hidden extras enabled), hit ESC. In that menu, you choose Group By: and choose TITLE. Then choose Sort By: and choose Orig. Air Date. This will list all your shows on the left, sorted by title, and on the right, the episodes of the selected show, sorted by Original Air Date.

Once you enter 5309 and set the menus the way you want and go back and enter 5309 to get out of Malroes menus, it does not affect the Original SageTV menus?

So going back to my original quesiton, is there a way to sort SageTV listing within a folder by original air date and keep it that way under normal SageTV listing?

In the default STV the sorting is performed at the upper most level. SO when you set it for original air date iit is sorted that way from the show name and into the folder by episode name. No sorting options exist at the epsisode level in the default STV. SO to answer your original question yes you can sort the episodes by original air date. But it also sorts the shows by the original air date. Take a look at TVE for the Default STV and you can probably get close to what you want.

Malore menu sorting and TVE sorting is seperate from the default STV sorting.

Sorry joe. Didn't see you mention not wanting to use the malore menues. If you have a large collection, it is far more versatile. The basic default view is just that. VERY basic.

If it is the 'unsupported' part you are concerned about, I wouldn't be. It is perfectly stable, and has been around for nearly as long as sage itself, which is why Andy included it into the base install.
