sage.properties settings

Is there a definitive list of what settings are available, and what the settings perform for the sage.properties file?

Seems like new ones are popping up in the 2.0.x release, and I'm not even sure what all the settings were for 1.4.

The 2.0 list seems to still be evolveing. They will likely wait until the production version to release updated documentation.

Even the v1.4 properties list has evolved... I'll bet some of those settings are no longer used.

So, I've exited out of Sage and changed my EPG rows to 7
so that I can see all of my local stations without having to scroll,
however, the number of rows on my EPG does not change.
Am I missing a setting? Is there a max number of rows?
Anyone have this problem?

thanks

See: my comment in the post directly above yours and help with epg configuration.

Either it isn't used any more or Frey still has changes to make for it to be back. I'm guessing that setting is no longer used.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if all these removed properties are now controlled in Studio instead. For example: ui/default_epg_num_rows seems to be an obvious one to be superseded by Studio, since you are supposed to be able to design your own UI layout with it... which is why I kept saying it is probably no longer used. However, now I'm wondering if other things are also controlled by Studio. ui/time_scroll_amount is another one that has had no effect since the beta was first released (was in a thread a long time ago). I tried it again earlier today, saw no response, and reported it as still not working... but if it is controlled in Studio, that would explain why it still has no effect. Oh well... just some idle speculation on my part as to why many of these properties seem to have shown up in the lost & found department... For all I know, ui/time_scroll_amount could simply be broken.

I'm sure it has. I haven't had 1.4 installed since the 2.x beta came out, and had only used it about 3 weeks before the 2.x beta came out.

But I seem to remember several other settings than those documented, and I know I've seen several posts over the last 3-4 months mentioning other settings that sometimes are in the sage.properties file, and one or two that weren't.

I had hoped that someone was keeping an "unofficial" FAQ or list of these settings, and hopefully were adding the 2.x settings as well.

Oh well....

Nope, sometimes if there was a particular issue, Narflex would say try doing this or adding that. Thats how a lot of us learned what the settings did.

Hopefully, there will be an updated properties list when v2 comes out.

BTW -- ui/time_scroll_amount was actually broken, since I just got word that it is now fixed for beta 16. Like I said above, I remember several of us talking about it a while back, but I guess each of thought someone else reported it!

Hey Narflex added my request I just did it last night
skip and replay now do 2:30 jumps
time scroll works with the double arrow (rewind and fast foward)
but no more having to use the hauppauge remote without page up/down and 2:30 jumps
so you do not have to use timescroll just to jump commercials
And it is disabled when using the guide and such

Thats is so Awesome
thanks Frey for adding my request
WOW did not think it would happen
man now thats support

Uh... what request are you talking about? That part isn't clear, at least to me.

Hey there. Just wondering if there is an updated version to this list? Maybe a complete one has been made?

Thanks
