SageMC Pre-release 21 Video Menu problem
I just loaded pre-release 21 and there is a problem with "My Videos." I am using phoenix jar 1.44. File System, Genres, Group, etc show the titles and covers, but I can't go into the video info. File system is the only one the somewhat works. It seems to want to let me go into the video info, however, when I press OK on the video folder it doesn't bring me to video info. It just says file system again and gives me the dvd cover as if it were another file under the Original Title. But even when I press OK on that file, the file disappears and still no video info. I can highlight the play icon and play the video though. The other views, like Genres and Group, etc, won't even let me go into that second screen so I can't even play the videos from those views.
I've tried reimporting it and re-extracting the update into the Sagetv folder, but nothing worked. I have other imports and I tried the 21 update without having any of the other imports loaded, but that didn't help either. Hope that made some sense.

I'm having the same issue with version 21. Where can previous SageMC pre-release versions be found?

I just upgraded to ver 21 last night myself and I am having the same issue. Its very frustrating. When you select a video to play it doesnt give you the normal window with the play option you have to go to the side menu and navigated down to play.

Ditto here - when you select a video the menu doesn't change where Play is on the top. It also doesn't seem to show the associated photo files or Fanart along with the show description.

Hi Guys,
I'm aware of the problem. It's just been difficult to find the time to work on it. I'll try to get to it this week. Aloha, Mike

I am having the same problem. I noticed that when I download the phoenix api from the beta thread, the link and file claim to be version 44, but on the settings page it reports it as version 43.

BTW, the file browser doesn't show folders either. I went to select a folder for fanart and I was shown a dialog with the right folder, but it said there were no subfolders when there were. As I clicked up folder, it continued to say no subfolders.

The latest pre-release should fix the issue cited by the OP.

Hi Mike
The file browser pane is still broken - at least on mine install. When I try to set teh Fanart Central Folder from the SageMC Setup / Extras / Batch Metadata Tools Options, I get it always showing me that there are no subdirectories, no matter what directory I enter. This is with the latest pre-release 22 stv file. Just to be complete, here is what the Settings screen tells me: SageTV v6.6.2.218 Java: 1.6.0_17 MC: 6.3.9b pre-release 22 sagemc.jar: 6.3.8 df_sageutils.jar: 2.2 phoenix.jar: 1.44 STV File: SageMC_6_3_9b_22-1.xml Thanks Greg PS: I hope everybody is having a great holiday season. |

I am not sure how to explain this but here goes:
I have been running STV SageMC_6_3_9b_22 for a while now and just today it started doing something rather bizarre. I two folders named TV Series; one is on my main PC and the other is on my other PC. Until today it combined the videos from both folders into one displayed folder called TV Series. Now it is displaying two folders; one named TV Series and the other V Series. I have tried reloading the default STV and reloading SageMC_6_3_9B_22, shutting down Sage Server and I tried deleting and then adding the folder to the Media Center Import Directories. This problem is currently only happening on my Desktop and does not appear to be happening when extended to the HD200. What should I try next? |

I realize now that my problem is the problem reported here regarding SageMC_6_3_9b_22 & 23. I reverted back to SageMC 16x9 and all is well.
