Must be a codac problem, but I cant see it.
I had SageMC installed on an XP machine. I usually run it as an extender controlled via CQC. It played all my rips fine which included DVD folder structure, .ts, .mpg, .mkv, and .wmv.
I have since converted to Win7, and now I am having problems getting it to play .ts files. Some of them will play just fine, but others will have no sound and will use closed captions. I have tried various combinations of filters to no success. Here is what is available on the configuration screens: MPEG2 Video Decoder CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD8) Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder (I added this line to the Sage.properties file - videoframe/additional_video_filters=Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder) SageTV MPEG Video Decoder MPEG4 Directshow SageTV Player H.264 CyberLink H.264/AVC Decoder (PDVD8) ffdshow Video Decoder Audio Renderer CyberLink Audio Renderer (PDVD8) Default DirectSound Device Default WaveOUt Device DirectSound: Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio) DirectSound: Speaker (Realtek High Definition Audio) Realtek Digital Output MPEG2 Audio Decoder AC3 Filter CyberLink Audio Decoder (PDVD8) MPEG Audoi Decoder SageTV MPEG Audio Decoder ffdshow Autio Decoder It seems like I have tried all the combination without success.Any suggestions to point me in the right direction? Thanks George M |

Install the latest native recording patch for Windows 7 from here:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...282#post389282 Then you can use Windows 7's built-in decoders. They work great.

Then do you pick the Microsoft decoders for everything?
Also I should have clarified - I use an HD200 as an extender. However if I use it in stand alone mode, everything plays correctly. But then I can't use CQC to control it GM |

For the most part. The way I have mine configured is I use the MS decoder for MPEG2 and H.264/MPEG4 and AC3Filter for audio.

Well I tried all that. Made sure everything was updated to latest releases, and still have the same problem.
Thanks for the info and trying though. GM |
