Multiple satellites, single tuner

I'm surprised I couldn't find this asked before but I don't suppose there is a practical way to configure an FTA tuner that is setup for two or more satellites? If I try to add a 2nd source it simply changes the one already there which I suppose makes sense.

Or is a manual channel edit the only way to add lots of additional channels?

If your card supports DISEQ you just need a multiswitch.

I don't have a problem tuning multiple sats directly on the tuner, only getting them in the EPG. There is a switch and it works fine but I can't see how to add both sats to a single sagetv video source (an HD-PVR).

Are you in North America using the built-in Zap2It EPG info? if so, you can add the channels to an existing lineup. In channel setup, choose edit lineup and add channels.. you will need the zap2it channelID for the channels you wish to add. (You can get this from teh URL of a channel's display page on zap2it.com.. I think it's stnNum=xxxxxx in the URL.

I was afraid of that....
I gave myself a head start by creating a new source via S-video and then copying the lineup to the component source. After deleting the S-video source I have a long list under component that I can modify.
