NewEgg has free shipping, and no tax to certain states. (It's good to have an alternate address in GA)

But Amazon ships free to Hawaii. Nobody else does that. I know it doesn't matter for you guys, but it's huge for me.

Aloha,
Mike

Hey Mike. If you get home and there is a big package on your doorstep from Amazon, open it quickly because it means I've been in there for a while. I've always wanted to see Hawaii.

Also, please don't return to sender for at least a week or two. It would be terrible to only see Maui from the inside of a box.

Ditto. Amazon also has a way better return policy.

This is such a funny thread. This basically encapsulates the entire process I went though in my head when I read the price at Newegg.

1) Oh! Newegg - HDHomerun for $118.99
2) Well what's Amazon's price? $125, free shipping, no sales tax every day
3) Hmmm wonder which one Mike would use?
4) Maybe I could ship myself to him in a big box?!?!?
5) You know Amazon has a much better return policy.

Well actually 1,2,5 was the flow but the other two were added for comedic effect.

10% sales tax added to the $125 doesn't sound that great. Hawaii seems to be a better place

HD HomeRun $99 at Radio Shack

http://www.radioshack.com/home/index.jsp
Search for HDHomeRun on Radioshack.com to find it. Select the Dual Tuner one pictured in grey and priced at $99.99, not the single tuner one pictured in blue priced at $98.99.
View your cart, and price should be $99.

I just came here to post that deal. I just ordered one myself. Found the coupon at a different place, but the same price. I can finally get rid of my fusion card that's starting to flake out on me.

That's a great price! Almost makes me want to get another one. But I asked for an HVR-2250 for Christmas due to its hybridiness. I need more tuners for the 1-99 channels that we hardly ever watch anyway

I just checked the Radio Shack web site and the HDHomerun single tuner model is $98.99 but Newegg has the singe tuner version for $89.99. However, I don't think anyone would want a single tuner version.

The dual turner HDHomerun is $109.99 on the Radio Shack web site, and $128.99 on Newegg, which has free shipping. I don't know if Newegg will match prices.

Radio shack again with a new deal;

Coupon GIFTS2009 for $25 off $100 starts 12/1.

So the deal goes from $109.99 today to $84.99 on 12/1 for the dual HDhomerun with coupon code above, assuming they still have stock then.

That sounds like a great deal Jerry! Do you know if shipping is free if it is sent to a local Radio Shack for pickup?

Shipping is free if you get it Ship-to-Store. I have a lot of people do it at the RadioShack I work at. I have been watching the HDHomerun and I believe it has sold out. I was going to definitely pick one up. You may keep double-checking though...

I just checked the Radio Shack web site. The HDHomerun dual tuner model is now out of stock. The $109.99 price only lasts until 12/01. So if they would have been in stock, the $25 discount would be applied to the original higher cost. So, it would have been cheaper to buy at the $109.99. Maybe the HDHomerun could still be purchased today for the $109.99 price and just wait for the item to be restocked.

Dave
