SA8300HD and SageTV
I am about to embark on this new journey with SageTV 6.6.x and my Home entertainment system -- so I am looking for some direction.
My HD provider is Rogers cable and I am using their SA8300HD set-top PVR box. My objective is to use SageTV server to record shows to my Windows Home Server then use multiple SageTV HD Theater devices to play that recorded content on other HD/TV's I have in other rooms. My question is: Can I connect the SA8300HD to my SageTV server and then record the TV shows from its multiple tuners? I realize that the SA8300HD is a proprietary solution and that SageTV will not be able to exploit the encrypted content that the SA8300HD stores on its internal hard drive.
