i've uploaded the debug files for these issues. Hopefully this will help figure this out.

i thought i would update this saga. It is now two weeks of emailing back and forth with sage support. Basically all they have had me do is rescan (not refresh) the imports but the problem is still there.
To summarize: 90 videos (mostly movies) are in a directory on the WHS called My Movies. In extender mode all 90 are there with and play fine. They also show up nicely in the HD200 with the IMDB metadata (text and dvd cover picture) information. However: in standalone mode 42 of the 90 show no metadata and picture and if you try to play the movie in thinks the file is empty. The import directory has been deleted and re-added and refreshed many many times, to no avail. I believe it is always the same movies that end up displaying as empty (cant say i have checked all 42 but i suspect thats the case) So extender mode fine, all movies are there and work fine. In standalone mode 42 do not. He thinks they are all empty. Very frustrating...I await further support direction. However i am ready to just back out of the beta and see if the problem goes away. thanks..

the update from support:
"The developers found the issue. The problem is that the HD200 is a little more picky about DVD imports than the server is. The DVDs it won't import are missing the VIDEO_TS.VOB and/or the VIDEO_TS.IFO files within the VIDEO_TS folder itself. Those files are required for DVDs; although sometimes people remove them and they still work, but its not standard. We'll put a fix for it in the next firmware so it'll import those as well." They still seemed to miss my point. Everything was fine with these movies until moved from one machine to a new WHS. I will check to see if these files actually got missed during the copy over. They dont have an estimate when the next firmware will be available.
