Moving Sage Windows To WHS

Hello, not sure if this is the right place for this question or i need to go to sage sales/support.

I have just built a new WHS machine (just finishing copying over music, movies, photos etc). I would like to convert/move my licence from my current Windows machine to my new WHS machine. I checked the forms and there was a thread on moving to a new machine but same windows version of sage. Is there proper method to doing this? Do i just download the sagewhs from the website and use my current licence from the other machine? Then copy over the sage bin and properties file?

I have HD200's, so the last step would be to update the folders / import directories to point to the new whs machine?

thanks appreciate any assistance...

For the most part-yes. WHS download and same license number. Sage wiz.bin-yes definitely. Depending on hardware and how similar you are probably better off just running thru the config wizard. But technically you can copy over the .properies and it should work.

Also if you havn't already done so download this plugin http://keinplatz.spaces.live.com/blo...3CB6!307.entry it will allow you to see the desktop if you are running WHS headless and you'll be able to launch Sage and configure it and do other things like stv updates.

Thanks for that information. The server is headless and my first experience with WHS. I'm still learning and i figured that the network console would allow me to do all the things needed to manage the PC. I will try the plugin. I guess people are using remote desktop to perform regular PC activities?
