FIXED - Weird "No Signal" Issue - WHS machine
I've had a fairly new WHS machine with SageTV set up and running for a couple of weeks now. However today I get nothing but "No Signal" screens with both my HDHR and my HD-PVR. The only thing I can think of that changed was that I activated my WHS license today prior to me noticing the issue with SageTV.
The weird thing is that with the HDHR, I can preview the channels inside of SageTV just fine (under the channel setup area). But when I pick a channel on the guide (even those that I just previewed), I get the "No Signal" error. These are the things that I have tried in order. 1) Cycled the SageTV service - no effect 2) Uninstalled the SageTV WHS plug in and reinstalled it - no effect 3) Uninstalled the SageTV WHS plugin, downloaded a new copy and reinstalled it - no effect 4) Downloaded latest STV and HD-100 beta version - no effect 5) Stopped the SageTV service, copied over my Wiz.bin and Sage.Properties files, uninstalled SageTV WHS plugin, deleted Sage Program folder, reinstalled SageTV WHS plugin, stopped SageTV service, copied over original wiz.bin and sage.properties files, restarted SageTV service - no effect So I am at a complete loss what might have occured. I also don't really know what else I can do on my own. Any other suggestions before I turn in a Sage support ticket? Thanks,

Yet another reboot fixed the problem.
I did not reboot after reinstalling SageTV the last time (after removing the SageTV folder). I suspect this "complete" reinstallation process is what really fixed it, but it must have needed a reboot to get everything jiving again. Regardless of what fixed it, I'm glad it's working now!

It happened again today and I think I figured out what is happening. Sometimes after an update or a reboot, my SageTV disk (which is not part of the storage pool) somehow changes dtive letters. I guess it has something to do with WHS handling of disk drives.
But without any space to record to, the system would simply not record anything and therefore show a "No Signal" error. Not sure if there is anything I can do to fix it, but I thought I would update my results in case anyone else finds a similar issue. I had to change the recording drive in Sage and that fixed the issue. Obviously a full restore was not needed the first time, but I just couldn't figure out what the problem was.
