JVM Heap Size

Got strange System Message: "Sage TV has detected that it has run out of memory. You may need to increase your JVM heap size...." Even more strange was tha fact that the message's number was 74731. Out of curiosity checked mine in Setup > Help > System Info and found it at decent state 104MB/144MB/400MB. After reading a couple threads on JVM heap size tryed to find regestry entry JVMMaxHeapSizeMB at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Frey Technologies\Sage TV\JVMMaxHeapSizeMB but only was able to find one at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Frey Technologies\SageTV and the value was set to 0.
All this kinda confusing. Running Sage TV as a client without extenders or placeshifting. OS Windows 7 RC

Make sure you stop all the sagetv services/apps before modifying the heap setting.



Sample .reg file to set JVMMaxHeapSizeMB to 512mb.

It's in a weird place if you've got UAC enabled. That looks about right if you're running 32bit W7.
