US VPN service

Anyone have a reliable VPN alternative that will provide a US IP address so Netflix and Hulu will work in Canada?

That would be nice to have, it sucks not having access to these new services that are US only.

How long is it going to take Spotify to show in Canada after the US?

I have used Hotspot shield in the past to do this but I have heard reports that it is no being working as it is being blocked by Hulu, etc. Do you want to just use Netflix and Hulu on your PC or via a Sage extender? It is likely trickier via a Sage extender as I would think that you would have to have your router connecting to the VPN server rather than just one of your PCs.

I found that HSS will work if you install it on the Server as I think the Extenders use it as a Gateway when they connect to Hulu and Netflix with the addin that EvilPenguin created. HSS however is now blocked by Hulu so I gave up on that.

A colleague of mine uses the hardware based service from Witopia. It's a Linksys router with Witopia's software installed on it. It creates a VPN tunnel for your entire network. But, it's $199 and I've already dropped too much money for the limited upside it brings so I was hoping for free or something approaching free.
