OK I figured out what's going on with the special characters (that's apparently normal). I still can't run DriveBalancer (trying with 1.0.5). I get an error that D is out of space even though there's 137GB available. The error has to do with a file that can't be accessed or deleted (fake137.bin). It happens if I answer no to include D or when I start the balancing when I answer yes.

Drive Balancer and WHS 3.3

I saw somewhere that it wouldn't run on WHS 3.3?

I didn't know this, so I just ran it, kept getting the same error on each option 1, 2 and 3: "new free space amount is too large".

Now my D; drive is "full".

Help!

I'm not sure what WHS "3.3" is. There are currently two version out there. WHS v1 and WHS v2 (aka Vail). The tool only makes sense to run on v1.

That said, look at the including text files with the package to see what folders are created so that you can delete them if you haven't already.

I upgraded to the WHS 3.0 Update.

I did read the docs. There are no folders on my drives like these:
C:\fs\*\fake\
D:\fake\

So where ARE the fake files?!
