Make 2 drives from 1 without reload of Windows help

I just bought a new PC from Dell. This machine only has one partition. I want to convert it into 2 logical drives, so that the video files can sit on one of the drives, and be formated at 64k.

Is there a way to do this without reloading windows. I just got it and other than turning it on, have not done anything to it yet.

Rick

Partition Magic would be the easiest choice. I used a freeware dos program
Ranish Partition Manager about a year ago. It worked, but you have to know what you're doing.

Opus4, what are the other three words?

Seriously, partition magic rocks. Love it. I second that motion.

You can also run spanned volumes though I believe that is only supported in the pro version of XP. A Big caveat to spanned volumes is lose data on one disk, lose both. Re-partioning is the preferred method but spanning would of course be free.
