Compressed Container that preserves DVD like menus

Are there any containers that maintain the menu functionality like when one inserts a physical DVD?

I want to create and upload a DVD like structure of home videos for my parents/grandparents to download and view on their PC’s. Obviously, I want to reduce the file size and keep it in a simple structure where one (complete computer novices) can double click the file and it just launches into WMP/VLC or some other video player. The most important part is the retention of the menu. I want the menu to be just like if I sent the physical DVD.

Is there a way to do this? Doe anyone have recommendations of software/containers etc that will do this?

Divx has a menuing feature. www.divx.com You must use their player. I believe some standalone players with Divx support will play the menus also.

I have only done this a few time but it works. I use Nero Recode to compress a DVD to whatever size I want. (Smaller less quality) I will then use Nero to make the compressed DVD a ISO image. The resulting *.iso file is playable in VNC.

I use Nero but I expect the are other tools that can compress the DVD and create an iso file.
