Windows 7 attempting connection to server
Hi,
As above when resuming from standby it takes what seems to be minutes for the server to reconnect. I'd say at least 3 minutes. Anyone else get this? Any setting to allow for quicker re-connect? Kryspy

Don't allow the network card to sleep.

Go to the properties of your network card. On the Power Management tab uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
