Playing ripped DVDs on Beta code

Does anyone know if the issues discussed in this thread have been fixed in the beta release?

http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...t=rip+dvd+play

This is where the client will not play a ripped dvd stored on the server.

Thanks

I know they updated the OSD for the DVD module:

I'm also seeing this. They play fine on the server but fail on the client. Interestingly, I can see it trying to access my DVD drive before it errors out with (this is from memory) failed to load DVD location. Just double checked and the exact same file is fine on the server. Tried a couple of different codecs. I'll play more with it later.

Just to beat a dead horse:

The DVD has the same path on client and server correct?
Z:\DVDs\Moviename\VIDEO_TS on both.

Doh! I knew you had to do this for music and for network encoders but I didn't know that it was necessary for imported dvd's as well. Fixed it!
