I added

GRNPOWER={run(c:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV\SageTV.exe)}{mode(SageTV)}

like it says it will put it to sleep but when i hit it again a little window pops up and says application not found

the path is correct because if i copy and past it into the address bar sage waks back up am i doing something wrong

You also have change a line(grnpower button line) in the sagetv section at the bottom of the remote.ini
it will look like this
GRNPOWER={ctrl}z{mode(default)}
that should make it rewake just fine

It won't work (as far as I know) when there is a space in the path. Use the short version of the filenames.

You can open a Command Prompt window & give the command:

dir /x

to list the short versions of the file/folder names. Most likely:

c:\PROGRA~1\FREYTE~1\SageTV\SageTV.exe

if i put it to sleep the only way it will wake up is if I restart the ir

Did you follow all the instructions, including editing the [SageTV] section and adding {mode(Default)} to the end of the GRNPOWER line, as kny3twalker also mentioned?

GRNPOWER={ctrl}z{mode(Default)}

The commands you showed are ordered that way in the [SageRecorder Video]section. When SageTV installs itself, the last section is usually [SageRecorder Video]... you have to edit the line in the [SageTV] section.

choose always with video background
instead of if active
all you will have to do then it hit back/exit on the hauppauge remote and the menu will be gone or you can go the guide and choose another channel
