Question About animating transition

I am traying to animations transitions from one widget to the next they using animation of "Smooth". There are several widgets (5 total) I am animating the transition from one to the next they are all on the same layer. Everything works fine except it loads the images in this case sense that is what I am animation in the new spot before the animation is completely give an animation over an image already there. How do you prevent this?

After looking further it is because I overlap the images. So the only way to stop that is put them on different layers but there there is no way to animatetransition from one layer to the next or is there?

Depends on what widget type you are using, if your using a panel widget try using the z-offset and place them all in the same layer. If your using an OptionsMenu widget your out of luck as they don't use z-offset.

It does work as I have 27 panels animating on different levels using the same layer with different z-offsets. The 27 panels are spread over 3 levels with the centre of the middle level being the focus. Imagine movie wall but animating like a snake and the focus is in the middle.

I am about out of options if it would let me animatetransition from one layer to another I wouldn't get the clipping but I am not sure it is possible without clipping when they are on the same layer and overlap.
