Volume resetting to 100% with track change

Hey there,

I've been seeing a problem for a while now where the volume in SageMC is reset to 100% with every new file that is played. This is particularly uncomfortable when listening to music. When listening to an album, each new track begins playing at full volume

Versions are:

Software Version: SageTV V6.6.1.217 - Client
Java Version: 1.6.0_07
SageMC STV Version: 6.3.9a pre-release 41


Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on resolving the issue?

A while back I upgraded to SageTV v6.6.2.218 and SageMC v6.3.9a, and now I experience the same problem noted when listening to music on extenders. I had never had that issue before. Interestingly I do not have the issue on a Client or a Placeshifter instance, just extenders (HD200 and MediaMVPs). Very annoying.

Anyone else experience this, or have any ideas on how to correct it? I guess I could downgrade and see if it gets better again.

Did you upgrade the actual extender with the 6.3.9a STV? You need to import that on your extender and reimport your plugins. Just updating the server doesn't do that.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I imported the update on all of my extenders. It really is a pain to listen to music on the extenders when it keeps resetting the volume.

Any other thoughts?
