End of 6.5.20 beta placeshifter trial still expired

What is the policy regarding beta/updates and placeshifter 15 day trials?

I was just wondering if there were any plans to have the placeshifter 15 day trail restart now that a new version is out? I was trialing the beta version initially, but would be pretty keen to make sure that the new 6.6.1 version actually works before comitting to payment.

Looking at the release notes there wasn't much change between 6.5.20 and the released 6.6.1. And nothing was changed for Placeshifter.

2. Added support for extracting a thumbnail from the HTML description for online videos that no longer contain them in the RSS feed
3. Fixed TrueHD detection in matroska files
4. Fixed bug where an audio stream that had only padding packets would cause us to indefinitely wait for the actual data in the stream to appear

STV Updates
1. Fixed wrap-around scroll bar that should not be used for thumbnail style recordings view.
2.Channel scan: When checking for Major channel number >= 1008, make sure the broadcast type is QAM.

Sounds good, but I'd still like to know that something wasn't broken in the update to SageTV Media Center and placeshifter, you know?
It would be 'normal' in my opinion that after after a beta release, that the trial should be reset for the release?

my placeshifter trial did not get reset? I was using the beta's prior to that

Sorry, I misspoke when I made my above post & had forgotten that the Placeshifter trial doesn't get reset.

Oh, and the trial is 21 days, not 15.

Andy WHY doesn't the placeshifter trial get reset?? I would think thats pretty important?? (well, it is to me anyway!)
