SageRecorder and Giga Pocket

I'm trialing SageRecorder. I have a Sony VAIO RZ34G with a Giga Pocket card. SageRecorder and SageTV are the first 3rd-party applications I've found that work with the Giga Pocket card, and I'm happy to have an alternative to Giga Pocket.

However, I've noticed that it only records at 4Mbs ("Great"). Right-Clicking on "Encoding" does not present any options. If I edit the properties file to specify "Best" (or anything else), SageRecorder displays that as the quality, but it doesn't actually change the recording quality. Is there any way to record at the max bit rate with the Giga Pocket card? Thanks.

Aside from this issue, I've been very impressed with SageRecorder so far.
