Remote [USB UIRT] does not reset idle timer
Hey guys
I recently switched (back) to using my USB UIRT when I started enabling hibernate on my PVR PC, because the old hauppauge IR.exe wouldn't re-initialize very well with multiple cards in the box. The one problem I'm having is, the remote does not reset the windows idle timer. What I mean by this is, if I press a button the keyboard, the PC and Sage will obey my settings (both Sage and windows power management settings). However if I hit a button my remote, that does *not* reset the windows idle timer, so that if a show ends, sometimes it is only a couple of minutes before the screen blanks, and a couple more minutes before hibernation is started. Can anyone help? I've looked at some threads regarding waking up using the USB UIRT, but that's not really what we're talking about here. (I'm not in any sleep state). thanks Cory |
