Poster art not showing

I am using the newest sage tv beta and Sage MC with the auto metadata addon. All is working well except the downloaded poster art is not showing up. The back grounds are working fine just not the poster art. Any suggestions?

Also if the Metadata program grabs the wrong info is there a way to manually change to the right title?

ok I can get them to show up if I put it in the movie file location and name it the same as the movie file name but the poster only have shows up. Half of the pic is grey. It also defeats the purpose of the Metadata addon. I'm sure its just a setting I'm missing.

If you import the metadata tools plugin into the stv, then you can do "on-demand" lookups for a media item.

If you use the command line, then you can pass the --auto=false arg with the movie filename and it will prompt you for a selection

Or you can manually edit the .properties file for the movie, then touch the movie filename, and tell sagetv to refresh it's media.

If you are using central fanart, then you'll need to configure the central fanart location on the server and on a client. (if you are using placeshifters, or extenders, then they will read the info from the server, since they run on the server). From client, you can configure the central fanart location from within the sagemc settings.

Thanks for the reply I have it all working now except for a few titles that I just cant get the poster art to show. The metadata addon has downloaded all the pics but it just refuses to show it. I've even tried renaming them. Have done searches here to see if any others have had this issue but no luck. Any thoughts.

If you look in the mailcheck.log, and search for your movie filename, it should show the path of the fanart/poster that it is trying to load. It may give you an indication of the filename for the image that it is trying to load.

Also, Some people have reported issues with 0 byte sized files... so check to make sure that the files are not 0 bytes.

So the log is not something I can edit its just a record correct? If I do notice that the names are not correct would the easiest way to correct it be to Just rename the listed poster file to match the Log? It seems all the movies I do a manual lookup from the stv options will not show the poster art for some reason. I share files so often have to do a manual lookup.
