When, oh when, will Fry's move into Chicago?

*sigh*

JJarmoc, That's one of my favorite things about living in LA over Chicago (where I grew up). I can walk into a store and look at a whole aisle of motherboards, and processors, and another one of transistors & ICs...it's so beautiful.

Yah, there's really no B&M chain stores in the chicago area selling that sort of stuff, and the Ma & Pa's usually don't keep much in stock. CompUSA is getting a little better, but their selection of 6 cases and 3 MBs leaves a lot to be desired. Whenever I'm out in California I love to go to Fry's and drool. The first time I was there I needed a cisco v.35 DTE->DCE cable and someone said 'no problem, we'll just go to Fry's and get one. ' I was amazed. They actually stock unusual parts like that!

CompUSA has something similar this week.

I hope they are running this special at all stores, if not sorry.

Maxtor 200G That is like $249 and some small instant rebate and the rest in mail in, taking it down to $149.00

Check your local CompUSA.

Troy
