Homebrew Channel Changer
Aplogies if this has already been asked and answered. I would like to build my own infra red transmitter to change the channels on my cable box.
I found a simple circuit at www.lirc.org. Would something like this work with sage ? Cheers Richard

Anything that can be driven via a command line interface will work with Sage without extra programming.
If you're a capable programmer you could probably develop a plugin for Sage that would make setup a bit easier. Note that this is a bit of speculation since I haven't seen the API for channel-changer plugins.
