HD100 Issues
I am having some issues with one of my HD100's. I upgraded to the latest beta this weekend and everything went good except for the fact that one of my HD100's would not show any TV channel regardless of whether it was on a HDHR or a HDPVR. I would got to the program guide and select a channel to watch now and the HD100 would reboot. This finally resolved itself by flipping the switch on the back and letting it sit for a while. I am now having an issue where I cannot run a STV update. If I go to the screen to update and click update now the screen will go completely black and I have to flip the switch on the back to bring it back to working. I am not sure what is going on. I have not tried the STV update on another HD100 since I want to be able to reporduce it if needed. Does this sound familiar to anyone or should I submit a bug report?
Thanks, Jayson

The most common problem with the HD100 is the "bulging capacitor" issue that effects the power supply board. If the unit is not getting enough clean power strange things will happen.
Open up the unit and see if the capacitors on the power supply board are bulging. The tops should be completely flat. If they are convex they are probably shot. Tom
