Multiple ATSC Tuners... STV's channel selection criteria?

I live in a marginal reception area and have 3 different antennas connected to 2 HDHomeRun's. Due to overlapping frequency coverage, it's not practical to combine these signals into a single feed. The losses in the notch filters and signal combiners would be prohibitive. I thought I could take care of this using STV by selecting each tuner's channels during setup using Enable / Disable. For example, say antenna 1 has the best reception for Channels 4 and 7, Antenna 2 for Channel 11, and Antenna 3 for everything else. I thought when STV was doing a scheduled recording, it would look though its collection of tuners and find which one has the desired channel enabled (I use a different channel lineup for each tuner). What I'm seeing however, is that STV is ignoring the Channel Enable status, and simply using the first tuner in the list. Could be I'm doing something wrong. Anyone else tried this?

Sage does only record on enabled channels. Go back in your channel list and make sure you've got everything enable the way you expect. You need to make sure you choose to not use the same lineup for both tuners, otherwise what you enable on one, applies to every tuner with that same lineup.

Is that possible with OTA tuners? I use 2 HDTV OTA tuners and couldn't do that with mine. The reason I had to was that one was overheating because it was closer to the Radeon HD card and had issues with one of the channels (weird, but it was true).

Yeah, you just go through source setup for the second one and tell it, I forget the wording, but to copy an existing lineup instead of using one.
