hd200 and dvd chapter support

I use sagetv mc with a HD200. I play both BLu-rays and DVD's. I knew the HD200 did not support chapters in Blu-ray playback but recently I have lost chapter support for regular dvd playback. I am wondering if I am misunderstanding the capability of the HD200 and regular dvd playback? Does the HD200 support regular DVD chapters?

It supports full DVD functionality and chapters in BDs (BDMV folders/structures specifically)

So is there a setting withing sagemc or the hd200 that would disable the chapter support? I am running the most current beta firmware on the hd200. I rip my dvd's to standard dvd format, I also rip blurays to standard bluray format. When I watch both, I have FF but cannot skip through a chapter. Thanks for helping me out.

I don't know of anything that would disable it. Do they show up as "DVD"s or "Blu-rays" in Sage?

I can not answer whether or not they show up as blu-ray or dvd. I have not seen a difference between the two in regards to how they are listed in the videos. So how does it differentiate between the a dvd and blu-ray while listing them in the videos

Well the easy way, if you're using the stock STV, do they show up in the DVDs view (rather than Videos)?

I am using the sagemc gui. It lists all my videos in the "my videos". The blu-rays and standard dvds appear as a selectable video.

Skip fwd2/back2 are also used for chapters skips in SageMC. I use these all the time.

BTW, I think Brent has a button cheat sheet over at GeekTonic.

Aloha,
Mike
